Sandy Dixon has an eye for what works and what doesn't work in a room. But this Evergreen businesswoman isn't fooled into thinking that spending money on design services is top-of-mind for most people in this tough economy. View the recent Denver Post story about Sandy's philosophy:
Debt-free redecorating - By Elana Ashanti Jefferson
The Denver Post
Sandy's
fascination with the "use what you already have" design
philosophy began years ago as a corporate executive
traveling extensively for business.

Before
unpacking her suitcase, she would instinctively rearrange
the furnishings of her hotel room, as well as personalize
the space by adding potpourri, candles and framed,
family photos that she had brought from home. This
was sure to have given the hotel cleaning staff something
to talk about!
She also applied this hands-on approach when she was
confronted with messy waiting rooms in her company's
branch offices across the U.S. She unfailingly would
tidy up the piles of magazines, arrange the furniture
in a more balanced and appealing layout and even re-hang
the artwork to accentuate the new setting! She wanted
the décor to not only exude a feeling of comfort for clients, but a clear
sense of professionalism as well.
As a real estate agent in southern California in the 80's, Sandy would 'set the
stage' for every open house she held... bringing in flowers, scents, food and
always making certain the lighting, furnishings, accessories, greenery and artwork
were perfectly balanced and authentic for the space.
Years later when researching entrepreneurial opportunities, she was drawn to
both professional organizing and interior design. Recounting her successful real
estate experience years before, she saw the dynamic possibilities of combining
all three areas of her expertise and Interior Arrangements, Inc., a real estate
staging, consulting, training and speaking company opened its doors in 2002.
Sandy's 16 years of corporate sales, marketing and
training experience has equipped her exceptionally
well to teach both home and business owners the powerful
benefits of using "real estate staging and interior redesign" techniques.
Her clients include Realtors, Professional Organizers, Property Managers, Interior Designers and business owners who
are looking for additional revenue streams and added services for their clients...
as well as those who are just passionate about decorating! Today, Sandy offers
workshops that teach people the simple steps to interior arranging that work
for every room, regardless of the amount or style of furnishings they have.
Sandy Dixon is a member and sanctioned instructor
